Gavin Clarke

Gavin Clarke has had a varied career trying nearly everything from landscape gardening to a running highly successful car modifying business (where his client’s cars often graced the front cover of Max Power).

After dreaming about it for years, Gavin finally decided to focus all his creative talents into tattooing (becoming “the oldest apprentice in town”). In 2012 Gavin opened Obsession Tattoo Studio (so named by his wife Sonia, having spent seemingly endless days and nights listening to him talk about artists, ink, needles and so on). Gavin loves portraiture and realism, but enjoys tattooing all styles especially oriental, religious work and thrives on the challenge of cover ups. He gets a buzz from seeing the client’s face light up when they see their new piece of art.
